  My already over weight mild dementia parent is gaining more weight after one year. They don’t watch the diet and they don’t exercise enough. Also, I don’t believe in pet therapy as they charge over $1000 for deposit and $200 of that is the yearly fee. Discouraging therapeutic animal visits! I come in and sign in and out of the binders regularly. The binder is constantly closed for no reason if there is one complaint about having a binder open because of personal information that’s not really a very good reason because you just have to simply open the binder and the information is there. But to spread germs on an open and close binder as well as using a common pen, I can control the pen, but I can’t control how often I have to touch that binder. I can wash my hands. But whatever manager has made a decision to close the binder after every signature needs to be realistic.

  I agree with other reviews that a lot of nursing and dinning staff are great. Also, receptionist Daphne is always cheerful and kind. Meals some days are good, some are incomplete. They perhaps are planned and prepared by chef. I personally find that a lot of charges are not fair to the residents. My dad just recently moved to Assisted living from Independent living where he lived with mom. We paid $800 monthly as Additional person on top of regular Rent $2900 for one bedroom. When he moved downstairs in late Feb we had to pay rent for 4 days for the new suite but we're told that they won't refund us those 4 days they charge the additional person where he moved out of. That means we double paid :( Another thing people need to be aware of about the emergency pendant if we need to rent. There's not much details about the refund that was provided at the time we rented. We paid $300 deposit for a necklace and $25 monthly fee. We returned it after 7 months with good condition. They only refund 50% less the cost of the lanyard so we will only get back 40%. Make sure you ask for the details.

  My sister, Carol, has been a resident in your facility for three years. Whenever I visit my niece, I have had the opportunity to visit her. During these lengthy visits, you generously provided a pleasant room for us to eat, laugh and exchange family stories. I have observed the genuine and happy manner in which your attendants care for her needs. I am also impressed with the nutritious, variety and nicely plated food. And your facility is secure and clean. Thank you!
