I recently had the pleasure of touring The Claremont Retirement Residence again since its recent renovations. The new spaces are beautiful, bright, with so much natural light and as always it is a warm and welcoming home. The courtyard is lovely as are the rooftop views of this quiet mid town neighbourhood. The Claremont really stands out as a unique and elegant residence.

The Claremont is a wonderful and intimate retirement home nestled in the heart of Leaside. The level of compassion, care and service they provide to the residents is extraordinary. The entire team really goes out of their way to get to know every individual to ensure everyone feels right at home. This place really is a bright spot in the community.

As a family, we couldn't be more grateful for the warm welcome our parents and the 3 of us received in early October when Mom and Dad moved into the Claremont. As a frequent visitor, I have the privilege of seeing the Claremont team in action sometimes up to 5 times a week. What a wonderful and dedicated staff of whom many know me by name. Their patience, understanding and compassion are to be commended. They take the time to make every resident feel heard, understood and cared for. As a family member this is extremely heartwarming and greatly appreciated. The caring and professional team is lead by James and it is obvious to see where the staff get there loyalty, empathy and expertise from as he is always available to help answer a question, explain something or put our minds to ease about any transition issues or changes. Will (resident living) was extremely welcoming and still stops to say hello and check in. Cathy (head nurse) is always friendly and there to answer questions and check in. Special mention Luz (nurse), Lisa always with a smile and hello (dining room) and Arlene who is there for everyone with words of encouragement and always friendly and engaging with residents. Andre who keeps the residents busy with various daily activities They have all set very high standards. We are most grateful for the Claremont and look forward to watching our parents at 92 and 95 continue to benefit and thrive from their professionalism and wonderful service. Sara McPherson Adamson
