I am always impressed by competence, and at St. Lawrence Place competence lies behind the excellence in every service: housekeeping, health care, the menu, the programs and, yes, the trouble-shooting, too. There is no weak link in the chain. Competence creates confidence. It is responsible for the frank, open and friendly relationship between residents and staff, creating the atmosphere where I can say, “I have truly enjoyed living here.”

St. Lawrence Place has been an absolute blessing for our family. My mother has been living there for several years, and throughout that time the care, compassion, and professionalism she has received have been consistently outstanding. The facility itself is warm, welcoming, and well maintained, creating a true sense of home rather than just a place to live. What truly sets St. Lawrence Place apart, however, is the people. The staff are attentive, kind, and genuinely supportive—not only to the residents, but to their families as well. They take the time to know each resident personally and treat them with dignity, patience, and respect. It gives our family tremendous peace of mind knowing that my mother is safe, comfortable, and surrounded by caring individuals who truly look out for her well-being every day. The sense of community and compassion at St. Lawrence Place is evident in everything they do. I include a photo of the recent holiday concert that was arranged by the amazing Andrea and Sarah. We are deeply grateful for the exceptional care my mother receives and would wholeheartedly recommend St. Lawrence Place to anyone looking for an assisted living facility where residents are truly valued and cared for.

My mother in law had a nice spacious apartment overlooking Ontario street at this well maintained retirement home. The location is convenient & there was always parking available. Some of the staff there are very friendly and proactive. They had daily as well as festive activities creatively organized throughout the year. There is a lovely library and outdoor area where seniors can enjoy the view of our beautiful downtown & lakefront which we enjoyed very much during the summer months. There is also a lounge and dining hall which we used often to eat with family. We liked the food there especially the soups & desserts. Overall, Venvi Senior Living is a wonderful retirement home thanks to the wonderful staff, chefs & nurses.
