Our Parents’ Home is a rare gem in Edmonton — warm, dignified, and run by people who genuinely care with compassion and staff I met today were empaths too. Even with the current LRT construction and the potholes that keep many away from downtown, every visit has been worth it. Joan, the receptionist, is exceptional: steady, welcoming, and the quiet guardian of the entrance. Angela brings vibrant leadership, and Courtney’s warmth radiates through the whole community The art room blew me away with the view to the city that beats the view of L'Ronde; the roof top with planters and flowers and tomatoes and glorious to relax on sunny days like today!! My friends receive daily personal‑care support — from lotioning their feet to attentive nursing care — and that level of compassion is something families should know when choosing a residence. While pricing isn’t disclosed publicly, I was told it is higher than Rosedale, and the quality of care reflects that. Thank you to Chef Ajay and his culinary team at OPH for the outstanding Mother's Day brunch. It brought much joy to my Mum. The food, the presentation of the food and the room decor were all wonderful. The rose presented to each Mother was such a special touch.
