On November 21, 2022 I found a new home. It was to be a lovely apartment in a wonderful retirement home called The Annex at 123 Spadina Rd. in Toronto. The Annex has truly a devoted staff od doctor, nurses, PSW's who look after the residents 24 hrs a day. there is also amazing activities director who works tirelessly in arranging a multitude of programs =, music, art, and socialization activities. The wonderful chef makes sure we have wholesome tasty food and is famous for his special buffets. The Annex is located in downtown is close to UofT, ROM, and Art Gallery and is within an easy block walk to lovely Jean Sibelius Park.

The staff at The Annex retirement home are incredible. Anthony Spensieri literally saved my family’s life by doing everything possible to get my father safely and securely into this beautiful facility. What has been a very difficult transition was made doable thanks to the care and support we received from all members of the community. My father has had a soft landing and is now thriving only 2 months in. What a gem. Thank you to all! Mary Jo Eustace

The Annex is a comfortable, clean living space with a great range of activities to choose from. My father has been living here for seven months, and we’ve found the staff personable, helpful, and professional. The menu is tasty and healthy. They have excellent musical performances, fun art activities, and field trips, to name just some of their events. The outdoor space is a relaxing spot in the summer, and the neighbourhood is the perfect place for walks.
