Geriatric Psychiatry Community Service

The Geriatric Psychiatry Community Service is a community outreach program offering mental health services to older adults who are unable to access the onsite Ambulatory Mental Health Clinic or who require case management. Key services include: - Psychiatric consultation and assessment by a Baycrest Hospital psychiatrist, in collaboration with clinical case managers - Treatment recommendations with time-limited follow-up, including support and advocacy for the best possible services for both clients and families - Referrals to other Baycrest services and community programs - Psychiatric treatment, including medication management, supportive counseling, caregiver education, and access to comm.
